Incoming exchange students

GENERAL INFORMATION

Courses at UPEC Faculty of Law are mostly taught in French. Some courses can be found in English or Spanish. The list of courses available will be sent by email to nominated students. Meanwhile, prospects can consult the brochures from « licence » https://droit.u-pec.fr/formations/licence or « master » https://droit.u-pec.fr/formations/masters

THEMIS incoming students will be offered a special limited selection of classes.

Exchange students will also have the possibility to take French as a Foreign Language (called FLE) courses. Beginners and intermediate are worth 1 ECTS and advanced 3 ECTS.

The International Affairs Office of UPEC also organized conversation workshops and tandems.

ERASMUS

Incoming Erasmus students must first be nominated by their home university. Our faculties must have signed a cooperation agreement. Once nominated, informations related to the application will be sent to the student.

Nomination deadlines : 15 May for the Fall semester / 1 November for the Spring semester

The following documents will be requested for the application :

  • CV
  • Cover letter
  • Academic results
  • European Health Insurance Card (for European students)
  • Copy of the passeport or European national ID
  • Proof of enrollment in your home university for the academic year of the exchange (student card or certificate)
  • Learning Agreement completed and signed by the student and the academic coordinator from their home university

Application deadlines : 31 May for the Fall semester / 15 November for the Spring semester

DOUBLE DEGREE STUDENTS FROM MAINZ

Double degree students will follow the curriculum from the « Master 1droit européen » https://droit.u-pec.fr/formations/master-droit-europeen under the same conditions as the French students. The courses are mostly taught in French, therefore a good command of French (B2) is required.
